Tortilla Chips:
1 package 8" flour tortillas
1 cup olive oil
1 tsp. kosher salt
crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp. dried herb; optional

Preheat o In a large, wide mixing bowl, mix oils, spices and/or herbs. Stack tortillas or pita and cut into 6 wedges. Pull the wedges apart into 2 pieces each. Put the wedges into the bowl with the oil mix, and toss with your hands until the oil has coated the wedges. Put them on pans and bake until they are just golden brown. (You may have to turn them if bottoms are not crisp and brown.) NOTES : Yield: 6 dozen. 0 567 0 0 0 87
