Taco Casserole meats, mexican, central american, main course, baked casserole 1 pound ground beef 2 cups grated cheddar cheese 2 cups crumbled tortilla chips 1 1/4 ounces (1 package) Taco Seasoning 1 medium onion; chopped 1 tablespoon chili powder 8 ounces (1 can) tomato sauce 2 cups water SERVING TOPPINGS: Sour cream Shredded lettuce Sliced tomatoes Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large skillet, brown beef and onions; drain fat. Add taco seasoning, chili powder, tomato sauce, and water. Simmer for 10 minutes. Gently fold in corn chips and most of cheese. Put into casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve with sour cream, lettuce, and sliced tomatoes.
