1 bottle vodka
2 oz star anise
1 tablespoon sugar

Break the anise into pieces and put into the vodka bottle. Add sugar. Replace the top and give the bottle a good shake every day until the sugar is dissolved, this will keep for 2-3 moths or longer if kept refrigerated.
