Potato Kugel beef, russian 9 potatoes, grated 1 egg, beaten 4 slice bacon 2 tablespoon (heaping) sour cream 1/2 onion, chopped 1 dash salt 1 cup milk, boiled 1 dash pepper Put potatoes into colander and press out juices. Cook bacon and keep the fat. (Vegetarians omit meat.) Combine potatoes, bacon, onion and hot bacon fat, and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour milk over top. Pour on egg and sour cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour or until light brown on top. Serve immediately or let flavors blend overnight.
