Buckwheat Meal For Meats - Pc grains, jams, polish, side dish 2 1/2 cup buckwheat meal (cracow meal) 3 1/8 cup ; water 1 salt Measure and pick over buckwheat meal. Cook 1-1/4 times as much water as meal; add salt. Add meal to boiling water, cook over low flame. When all the water is absorbed, cover and place in oven. When done, put through food chopper (with blade for grinding nuts) or strain through a sieve directly onto platter; cover, heat over boiling water.
