5 medium cucumbers
1 pinch salt
1 vinegar
3/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoon green dill; chopped
1 pepper (optional - in place of dill; )

: Rinse cucumbers, pare, slice in thin rings or shred. Add salt to cucumbers, mix, cover with plate, press with light weight. When moist, drain off a little of the juice.
