Fluffy Rice With Onion - Pc

2 1/2 cup rice
2 tablespoon fat
1/2 small onion
1 salt
5 cup ; water

Measure rice; pick over, rinse. Chop onion finely, brown lightly in fat. Boil twice as much water as rice; add salt and fat with onion. Drop rice into boiling water and cook over low heat. When the water is absorbed, mix, cover and place in oven. When the rice is fluffy, remove, and separate grains with fork, place on heated platter.
