With size G hook ch 4, slip st in first ch to make ring, 8 sc in ring, join w/ sl st. ch 2 hdc in same st, hdc in st, 2 hdc in next st, around. (12 hdc) join. Rnds 3-4: hdc in each hdc around, join. Rnds 5 , 6, 7: ch 1, sc in next 5 sts, turn. Rnd 8: ch1, sc in 1st sc, pull up a loop in next 3 sc, yarn over and pull through all loops on hook (decrease). Sc in last sc. Fold together to form heel and sl st to 1st sc. Rnd 9: ch 1, sc in edge of rows-(3 sc), dec in corner, sc in each hdc to corner, dec in corner, sc in end of rows, (3 sc), join to 1st sc. Rnds 10, 11, 12: Ch 3, dc in each sc around. (15 sc) finish off. Join contrasting color with slip st to back of stocking, ch 10 (for hanging loop), join in same st, ch 3, skip next st, sc in next st, around. join w/ sl st and finish off. I'm using green and burgundy.
