Xmas Nibbles: Chestnut Ham Vol-Au-Vents

24 frozen medium vol-au-vent cases
1 240 gram tin vacuum-packed peeled c; hestnuts
1/4 lb thickly sliced ham
1 142 millilit double cream
1 teaspoon cornflour
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Pre-heat oven to gas mark 7/425F/220C Bake vol-au-vent cases for 10-15 mins until risen and golden. Drain and finely chop chestnuts. Dice ham. Gently heat together chestnuts, ham and double cream. Mix together cornflour and milk. Stir into ham mixture and cook gently for 2 minutes. Mix in parsley. Divide chestnut mixture among the vol-au-vent cases. Bake at gas mark 5/375F/190C.
