Christmas Beer Cake

3 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup beer
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 topping:
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar; add dry ingredients alternately with liquids. Spoon 1/3 batter into a greased 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle 1/3 of the topping on batter. Repeat 2 times. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Randy Rigg
