Dads Christmas Chocolate Fudge

2 cup sugar
2 tablespoon cocoa
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup nut meats

Mix sugar, cocoa and milk well and bring to a boil. Boil until forms a soft ball in water(this was before candy thermometers) Remove from fire and add BUTTER, VANILLA, and NUT MEATS ( I like walnuts).
