To make solid color stocking, make 2 of the following pattern: ROW 1: Ch 13 with any color yarn, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1, turn. ROWS 2-8: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn. ROW 9: Sc in first 5 sc across, ch 1, turn [5]. ROWS 10-12: Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn [5]. ROW 13: Sc, work next 2 sc together to decrease, sc in next st, ch 1, turn [3]. ROW 14: Work 3 sc together to decrease, fasten off. Sew stocking sides together, leaving top open.
