New England Cranberry Sauce fruits, holidays 4 cup cranberries 1 cup water 2 cup sugar Mix all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat to boiling, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Cook about 10 minutes, or until berries have all burst and liquid is reduced somewhat. Sauce will thicken more as it cools.
