Russian Christmas Mint Tea beverages, ethnic, holidays 8 tablespoon black ceylon tea leaves 3 tablespoon dried peppermint leaves 1/2 cup dried cherries 1 sugar to suit Tie tea leaves, cherries, and mint leaves into a muslin or cheesecloth bag. Bring 2 quarts of water to a brisk boil, add the bag, remove from heat and allow to steep for 20 minutes. Serve and add sugar as desired.
