1 wooden dowel
1 pieco of plastic foam
1 small ornament to decorate

Round 3: Ch 3, 3 dc in each dc around, join and break off. 2nd Section: Round 1: Ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring. Ch 1, 10 sc in ring, join. Round 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in each sc around, join. Round 3: Ch 3, 3 dc in each dc around, join. Round 4: Repeat round 3 and break off. 3rd Section: Round 1: Ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring. Ch 1, 10 sc in ring, join. Round 2, 3,and 4: Ch 3, 2 dc in each st around, join. Round 5: Ch 3, 3 dc in each dc aroun, join and break off. 4th Section: Round 1: Ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring. Ch 1, 10 sc in ring, join. Round 2, 3,and 4, 5, and 6: Ch 3, 2 dc in each st around, join. At end of round 6 break off. 5th Section: Do same as 4th section but with 7 rounds. You can make this tree as large as you wish just by making more sections, each with 1 extra round. To Assemble: Put wooden dowel in piece of plastic foam. Slip sections down over dowel, largest one first. Variation: On alternate sections add a row of sc (in a contrasting yarn) on the outer edge to resemble garland wrapped around the tree.
