Selyodka Pod Ukropnym Sousom

1 each herring boned & skinned cut into 1; diagonal pcs.
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
2 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon dried dill chopped or -
2 tablespoon dill fresh & chopped fine

Mix everything except the fish together. Place fish in deep dish and pour the mixture oevr it. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours. Origin: Iliannya Sobrivas, Kallingrad-CIS, circa, 1994
