Mango Chutney ethnic, sauces 2 cup vinegar 5 1/2 cup sugar 10 cup green mango slices 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup chopped green gingeroot 1 clove garlic, chopped fine 4 red chili peppers 3 cup seedless raisins 1 large onion sliced 1/4 cup fresh orange peel 2/3 cup blanched chopped almonds Boil vinegar and sugar about 5 minutes. Add sliced mangoes and other ingredients. Mix all ingredients and boil slowly, stirring frequently until thick (about 1/2 hour). Place in sterilzed jars and seal lightly.
