Russian Coffee Cake cakes, desserts, ethnic 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs, well beaten 3/4 cup honey 2 tablespoon oil 1/2 cup hot dark tea 2 tablespoon whiskey 2 cup sifted flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 3/8 cup chopped nuts 1 grated rind of one lemon Mix all ingredients together and beat well. Pour into greased loaf pan which has been lined with waxed paper on the bottom. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
