Mandryky Cherry Topping ethnic, european, fruits 1 pint pitted cherries fresh or 1 lb can of cherries 2 tablespoon cornstarch 2 tablespoon cold water 1 each juice of lemon fresh 3/4 cup sugar 1 water to cover Heat lemon juice, sugar, and water to boiling a large saucepan. Add cherries, mix well, dissolve the cornstarch in the cold water and add. Cook until the cherries are coatede and the sauce is clear. Cool before using as a topping.
