Garlic Gravy (Cesnekova Omacka)--Czech

Melt 3 T. fat in skillet, add 3 T. flour; brown until a real dark brown. Add 2 or 3 cloves garlic sliced, cook a few minutes longer, add 1 1/2 c. beef broth or hot water. Cook until smooth.
