Swedish Cabbage Rolls

----CABBAGE ROLLS----
6 each large cabbage leaves
1 each egg, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup onion, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lb ground beef
1 cup rice, cooked
----SAUCE----
8 oz tomato sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

CABBAGE ROLLS: Boil cabbage leaves until limp. Combine egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper, beef and cooked rice. Divide into 6 portions. Place each portion into a cabbage leaf, fold in sides and roll over. Place in slow cooker pot. SAUCE: Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls in slow cooker pot. Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours. Notes: Family favorite Source: Crockery Cookery by Mable Hoffman
