Chili Seasoning Mix 1 chili, mix 1 tablespoon unbleached flour 2 tablespoon instant minced onion 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon seasoned salt 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper 1/2 teaspoon instant minced garlic 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and blend well. Spoon mixture into a 6-inch square of aluminum foil and fold to make it airtight and label as Chili Seasoning Mix. Store in a cool, dry place and use within 6 months. Makes 1 package (about 1/4 cup) of mix. To make additional packages, increase ingredient amounts using the above recipe. Chili: Brown 1 lb of lean ground beef in a medium skillet over medium-high heat; drain. Add 2 (15 1/2 oz) cans of kidney beans, 2 (16 oz) cans of tomatoes and 1 pkg of seasoning mix.
