Chili-Cheese Balls

appetizers, chili

8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 oz chopped green chilies, well drained

Heat oven to 375F. Mix all ingredients. Shape into 3%-inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake until set, 15 to 18 minutes. Serve immediately. About 6 dozen appetizers; 30 calories per appetizer. Do-ahead Tip: Shape appetizers and - Freeze. To serve, bake about 18 minutes. Source: Betty Crockers Cookbook, 6th Edition
