Chili Mix With Recipe, Low Salt

beef, healthy, groundmeat, mix

----MIX----
2 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
----CHILI----
1 lb ground meat
1 pkg chili mix
2 15oz. cans of no salt tomato
1 sauce
1 chopped onions
4 cup pinto beans, cooked with
1 no salt, partially drained

Mix: Combine and store in an airtight container Chili: Brown ground meat until no longer pink & drain, add chopped onions and Saute for about 5 minutes. In large pot add chili mix, NO SALT tomato sauce, pinto beans (previously cooked WITHOUT SALT and partially drained). Cook for about 15 minutes stirring so it doesn't stick. Nutrition Info: 452 mg. for whole pot. This depends on how much of the ground meat and tomato sauce that you use. So to figure amount per serving divide the number of people or servings you think you will get out of it into 452. This is my own made up version and you may vary things as you may like your chili a little hotter or not as hot as I like mine. They also make a chili mix with no salt in it, it is called La Preferida you could look in your local store and see if it is in there. Only Winn Dixie store chain has it around here.
