Bacon-Apricot Twists appetizers ----SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS; BOOK 3---- 6 slice bacon; cut in half 12 apricot halves, dried ----DIPPING SAUCE---- 1/4 cup jam, red plum 1/8 cup soy sauce Preheat oven to 350 F. Wrap one half-slice of bacon around an apricot half, securing with toothpick. Repeat with remaining bacon and apricots. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 20-25 minutes, turning once. Bacon should be brown and crisp. While twists and baking, combine jam and soy sauce in small saucepan. Cook over low heat just until jam melts; set aside. Drain twists on paper towels. Serve warm or at room temperature with dipping sauce. Sylvia's comments: this was okay but not exciting -- I have better bacon appetizer recipes.
