Santa's Nuts - Bob Blumer (Surreal Gourmet) Curried Cashe spice, snacks, nuts, curry 4 tablespoon olive oil 2 teaspoon ground ginger 2 teaspoon dry mustard 4 teaspoon ground turmeric 1 teaspoon ground cardamom 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds 1 teaspoon salt 2 lb raw cashews Preheat the oven to 350 In a saute pan over medium heat, heat the oil. Add the spices and stir for 2 minutes to toast. Remove from heat, add the cashews, and toss until the nuts are coated thoroughly. Arrange the cashews in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the nuts are browned, turning once.
