Pear Cheddar Sandwich

fruits, sandwiches, cheese

2 tablespoons light cream cheese; softened
1 teaspoon sweet mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 slices multigrain bread
3 ounces old Cheddar or Brie cheese; sliced
1 pear or apple; thinly sliced
alfalfa sprouts or watercress sprig

In bowl, stir together cream cheese, mustard and pepper; spread over bread slices. Layer cheese slices, pears and sprouts on 2 of the bread slices; top with remaining bread. Cut in half diagonally.
