Crisp Parmesan And Garlic Pita Toasts appetizers, breads 1 package pita bread; 6-inch rounds 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 3 cloves garlic; minced 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Preheat oven to 350ºF. Using a sharp knife, cut each pita round into 6 triangles. Separate each piece into 2 halves. Place pieces on a baking sheet with baked side facing up. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic and oregano. Brush each pita triangle with oil mixture; sprinkle Parmesan on each piece. Bake until golden and crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
