Flash-In-A-Pan Sesame Stir-Fry beef - other, stirfry - beef 1 pound sirloin steak 2 tablespoons cornstarch 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce or tamari 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Trim any fat from steak. Slice across the grain into 1/8-inch thick strips; cut strips into 3-inch lengths and place in bowl. Sprinkle with cornstarch; toss until evenly coated. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper and hot pepper sauce; stir and let stand for 15 minutes. In large nonstick skillet or wok, heat oil over medium-high heat; stir-fry beef mixture for 2 minutes or just until beef is no longer pink. Variation Sesame Beef Bites: For a tasty bundle to eat out of your hands, tuck the stir-fried beef into warm flour tortillas, dab with hoisin sauce and top with shredded nape cabbage or romaine lettuce.
