Beef, Bell Pepper And Snow Pea Stir-Fry beef - other, stirfry - beef 1/2 cup beef stock 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon cornstarch 3 tablespoons vegetable oil; divided 3/4 pound flank steak; cut into thin strips 1 jalapeńo pepper; seeded and chopped fine 1 clove garlic; chopped fine 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger 1/2 pound snow peas; trimmed 1 small yellow bell pepper; sliced thin salt and pepper roasted sesame seeds In small bowl, combine stock, soy sauce and cornstarch; set aside. In wok or large heavy frypan, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat. Add beef and stir-fry for about 2 minutes or until cooked. Remove beef and set aside. Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil in wok over medium heat. Add jalapeno pepper, garlic and ginger; stir-fry 1 minute. Add peas and yellow pepper; stir-fry for 2 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir cornstarch mixture; add to wok, stirring constantly. Return beef and simmer for about 1 minute or until sauce thickens, stirring frequently. Add salt and pepper to taste. Place on platter and sprinkle lightly with sesame seeds.
