Hamburger Stroganoff

beef - ground

1 pound ground beef
2 onions; chopped
1 can (19 oz) stewed tomatoes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups small pasta shells or macaroni
1 cup sour cream

In large heavy saucepan or Dutch oven, cook beef and onions for 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, breaking up meat with wooden spoon. Pour off fat. Stir in tomatoes, 1 cup water and Worcestershire sauce; bring to boil. Add pasta and reduce heat to low; cover and simmer, stirring frequently, for 20 minutes or until pasta is al dente (tender but firm). Stir in sour cream; heat through but do not boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with a green vegetable
