Indonesian Glaze

1/2 cup (packed) brown sugar
1/4 cup (each) fancy molasses and hoisin sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon pepper
pinch cinnamon

This is particularly good brushed on chicken or fish. In saucepan, bring sugar, molasses, hoisin and soy sauces, ginger, pepper and cinnamon to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring, for 3 minutes or until thickened. Let cool. Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
