Brown Sugar Broiled Icing cakes, baking 2/3 cup packed brown sugar 6 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup cream 1 cup shredded coconut This is an optional topping for Queen Elizabeth cakes. In small saucepan, combine sugar, butter, cream and coconut; boil gently for 3 minutes. Spread over cake hot from the oven; place cake under broiler until frosting is browned and bubbly (watch closely; it browns quickly).
