Spiced Shrimp

shrimp

1 clove garlic; crushed
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1 pound shrimp; peeled and deveined

In skillet, sauté garlic lightly in butter (do not brown). Stir in spices, salt and pepper. Add shrimp and sauté 2 to 5 minutes, or just until tender. Serve hot on toothpicks.
