Green Onion And Caraway Muffins vegetables, muffins 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2/3 cup chopped green onions 2 teaspoons granulated sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda; salt and pepper 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds or dried rosemary; crushed 1 cup buttermilk 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 egg; lightly beaten 2/3 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese In bowl, combine flour, onions, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper and caraway seeds. Combine buttermilk, oil and egg; pour over dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Spoon into 8 greased or paper-lined muffin cups. Sprinkle cheese evenly over tops.
