Chicken With Cumin And Garlic

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 pounds skinless chicken pieces
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
3 cloves garlic; minced
2 whole cloves
2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander or parsley

In large nonstick, heat oil over medium-high heat; brown chicken on all sides. Sprinkle cumin, salt, pepper and hot pepper flakes over chicken. Add 1 cup water, garlic, cloves and lemon juice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Discard cloves. Remove chicken to platter; keep warm. Boil liquid in pan for about 5 minutes or until reduced to about 1/4 cup. Stir in coriander.
