Baked Sausage Patties

1 pound sausage meat
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
3 green onions; finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper

In bowl, combine sausage, 1/4 cup of the crumbs, onions, parsley, thyme and pepper. Shape into eight 1/4 inch thick patties. Lightly coat patties with remaining crumbs. Bake on rack in roasting pan in 375şF oven for 20 minutes or until no longer pink inside, turning once. Food Exchanges: 1/2 Grain(Starch); 1 Lean Meat; 0 Vegetable; 0 Fruit; 4 Fat; 0 Other Carbohydrates
