Bacon In A Bun sandwiches, pork 2 pounds peameal or back bacon; preferably in 1 piece 1 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoons prepared hot mustard 2 teaspoons horseradish 12 hamburger buns Cut bacon into 24 slices, about 1/4 inch thick. Slash fat edge of each slice in about 3 places to prevent curling. Barbecue on grill over medium-low heat for 1 or 2 minutes on each side until lightly browned. (Don't overcook). Or cook slices in greased skillet over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Combine mayonnaise, mustard and horseradish. Split buns. Warm on grill if barbecuing or in oven if cooking indoors. Spread each half with mayonnaise mixture. Pop 2 hot bacon slices into each bun.
