Christmas Slaw salads, vegetables 6 cups shredded green cabbage 4 cups shredded red cabbage 2 apples; cored and diced 1/2 cup diced Spanish onion 1/2 cup chopped peanuts ----DRESSING---- 1/3 cup canola oil 1/3 cup white wine vinegar or cider vinegar 3 tablespoons grainy mustard 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 2 teaspoons granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce In large bowl, toss together green cabbage, red cabbage, apples and onion. (Make-ahead: Cover with damp paper towel and plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 4 hours.) DRESSING: In jar, shake together oil, vinegar, grainy and Dijon mustards, sugar, salt and hot pepper sauce. Just before serving, toss with salad. Sprinkle with nuts.
