Sweet-And-Sour Slather sandwiches 1/2 cup pineapple juice 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/3 cup apricot jam 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce 2 cloves garlic; minced 2 tablespoons cornstarch You can cook up this sauce for pork, beef, chicken or fish in less than 10 minutes. In saucepan, bring pineapple juice, vinegar, jam, sugar, teriyaki sauce and garlic to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring, for 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Combine cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water; whisk into pan until blended. Simmer, stirring, for about 3 minutes or until thickened and glossy.
