Asian Wraps

beef - ground

1 pound lean ground beef
2 carrots; shredded
1/3 cup hoisin sauce
2 green onions; chopped
8 small flour tortillas; warmed

Line the tortillas with lettuce leaves if desired. In large skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat, stirring often and breaking up with spoon, for 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Pour off any fat. Add shredded carrots to skillet; cook, stirring often, for 2 minutes. Stir in hoisin sauce, chopped green onions and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Spoon about 1/2 cup of the beef mixture down centre of each tortilla; fold bottom, then sides, over filling. TIP: To warm tortillas, cover with paper towel and microwave 2 at a time at High for 10 seconds. Or wrap in foil and warm in 275° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
