Meal In A Bowl

soups, chicken - breast

3 ounces boneless chicken breast; cut in bite-sized pieces
2 green onions; 1-inch diagonal slices
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
2 teaspoons finely minced ginger
1 cup cooked noodles
1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 teaspoon sodium-reduced soy sauce
1 teaspoon Oriental sesame oil
salt and freshly ground pepper; to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs; e.g. cilantro or basil

Place all the ingredient, except the noodles, in a saucepan and bring to a low simmer. Simmer for about 6 minutes. Add noodles to pot and simmer another 3-4 minutes. Garnish with chopped herbs. Serve at once.
