Grilled Sirloin With Lemon Thyme Butter bbq, beef - other 2 pounds top sirloin grilling steak; 1 1/2 inches thick 1/4 teaspoon (each) salt and pepper ----Lemon Thyme Butter---- 1/2 cup butter; softened 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon rind Lemon Thyme Butter: In small bowl, blend butter, thyme and lemon rind. Place on plastic wrap and shape into 1 1/2-inch thick log; roll up. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until firm. Season steak with salt and pepper. Place steak on greased grill over medium-high heat; close lid and cook, turning steak once, for about 20 minutes for rare or until desired doneness. Transfer to cutting board and tent with foil; let stand for 5 minutes before slicing thinly on the diagonal. Slice butter into 1/4-inch thick pats; top each serving of steak with pat.
