Indian Spiced Beef Kabobs bbq, beef - other, curry 2 tablespoons minced gingerroot 2 cloves garlic; minced 1 jalapeno or hot green chili pepper; seeded and minced 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 egg yolk 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon (each) salt and turmeric 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander 1 pound lean ground beef Eat in buns or on its own with saffron-tinged rice and Indian Tomato Salad. In large bowl, stir together ginger, garlic, jalapeno, oil, egg yolk, cornstarch, salt, turmeric and coriander; mix in beef until blended. Divide into 8 portions; shape each into ball. Thread 2 balls onto each of 4 metal or soaked wooden skewers; squeeze each into 3-inch sausage shape. Place skewers on greased grill over medium-high heat; close lid and cook, turning skewers once, for about 15 minutes or until kabobs are lightly browned and no longer pink inside.
