1 3/4 cups water
1 cup long-grain rice
1/2 teaspoon salt

In microwaveable casserole dish, combine water, rice and) salt. Cover and microwave at High for 8 minutes then at Medium (50% power) for 6 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
