Cran-Raspberry Cordial

2 cups (each) cranberries and raspberries; fresh or frozen
2 cups granulated sugar
1 bottle (750 ml) vodka

In food processor, coarsely chop cranberries with half of the sugar; transfer to large airtight jar. Repeat with raspberries and remaining sugar; add to jar. Pour in vodka; seal and shake. Refrigerate for 2 weeks, shaking often. Strain through double thickness of dampened cheesecloth into large measure, squeezing and twisting to extract juice. Pour into decorative bottles and seal. (Make-ahead: Store in cool, dark place for up to 1 year.)
