Garlic Dip

1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
1/4 cup chopped green onions or chives
2 cloves garlic; minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar

Serve as a dip with raw vegetables, or as a sauce over baked potatoes, sliced tomatoes or cucumber, steamed green beans or fish fillets. In bowl, combine yogurt, onions, garlic, oil and sugar. Mix thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate until needed. Variation: Curry Dip: Add 1 tsp each curry powder and cumin to Garlic Dip. Amount of onions and garlic may be reduced.
