Apple Cheddar Drop Biscuits baking, cheese 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup cold butter 1 cup shredded extra-old Cheddar cheese 1 cup grated peeled apple; about 1 1 green onion; minced 3/4 cup milk In large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Using pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese, apple and onion. Add milk, mixing with fork, just until ragged, moist dough forms. Drop by 1/3 cupfuls ,1 1/2 inches apart, onto greased or parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake in centre of 425°F oven until browned, 13 to 15 minutes.
