Baked Back Ribs bbq, pork 4 pounds lean back ribs 1 cup chopped onions 1/2 cup water 2 tablespoons white vinegar 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 cup chili sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon paprika Cut ribs into serving-size pieces and place in baking dish; cover with foil. Bake in 450°F oven for 15 minutes. Drain fat and reserve 1 tablespoon for sauce. In skillet, heat reserved fat. Add onions and sauté for a few minutes until golden brown. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer, uncovered far 20 minutes Taste and adjust seasoning. Pour sauce over ribs in baking dish; cover and bake in 350°F oven for 1-1/4 hours. Remove cover, baste and bake an additional 30 minutes, basting often, until browned and glazed. Serve with sauerkraut and green beans.
