Sausages Cooked In Beer pork, beer 2 pounds pork sausages 1 water 1 bottle (12 oz.) beer Prick the sausages with a fork - to let out those unwanted fats - and bring them to a boil in the water. Drain and return to the frying pan. Never add fat to sausages. Cover with the beer and simmer gently (about 300 degrees in an electric frying pan) for a half hour.
